Yup. Felt the same. matokah: There has been a lot of frustration over Facebook apparently requiring new users to register as either male or female.  I’m not sure how (or when) I did it, but I declined to state my gender on Facebook years ago and all of my pronouns are singular non-descript (they, their, them).  But I haven’t been able to cut my name down just to my first initial on Facebook...
